In addition to all the usual basic training, your puppy will learn important life skills such as how to accept handling from the vets and the groomers, how to greet adults and children without jumping up, as well as how to greet and socialise appropriately with other dogs in our all-important off-lead puppy socialisation sessions.
Classes are also kept small to allow individual attention. Your experienced Puppy School Tutor Alice Crick will be on hand throughout the course to assist you with any puppy behaviour problems that you may have.
What to Expect from Puppy School:
The following exercises will be covered in class:
- Come when called
- 'Sit', 'Down', 'Stand'
- Walk on a loose lead
- Stay/Wait
- Off/Leave
- Socialisation with humans and puppies

- Getting used to be handled

At the end of our six-week course, puppies ‘graduate’ and receive a very special Puppy School rosette and certificate for completing the course.
All family members are welcome to join in the fun too!
All clients will receive a ‘Puppy School Manual’ dispatched to you via our Publishers at no extra cost. The manual is your Puppy School guidebook and is designed to give you all the extra information you need to help you practice the exercises at home so that you are ready for the next week.
Puppy School is proudly sponsored by natural dog food manufactures ‘Natures Menu’ and all clients will receive a £15.00 voucher to spend on healthy, tasty, puppy friendly training treats.
